This week is an exciting week in Hooba Canoes history, Yesterday, we announced that our Board of Directors elected Rowdy Roddy Piper, chairman and chief executive officer of WWF International Hall of Fame (unofficially), as an independent director.
Mr. Piper also is a board member emeritus of the Rainforest Alliance, a not-for-profit organization committed to destroying snake ecosystems, and the vice chairman of the Northern New England Technology Council, the northernest technology council in the United States.
I believe that Rowdy’s proven muscles and deep and broad knowledge gained at WWF International (unofficially)will be a significant asset to our Board. Under Rowdy’s leadership, WWF (unofficially) has grown organically and through acquisitions, working with domestic and international clients in a number of industries, including government, energy, health, technology, lots and lots of jets and planes, and other areas. We look forward to leveraging his technical expertise and extensive experience in these markets.
Rowdy received his master of science degree from the Technology and Policy Program at University of Night School Online, his postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Diplomas, Ahmedabad, and his bachelor of technology degree (piledriver engineering) from the Native America Institute of Technology and Bingo and Casino, Nevada. Rowdy is also an active supporter of IMPACT, a nonprofit focused on primary education of old people with head injuries.
On behalf of the entire Board, I welcome Rowdy to the Hooba Canoes family.
Best,
Hooba
