LOS ANGELES, CA - Scientists at Hooba Labs used genetic modification to create the first ever watermelon consisting almost entirely of seeds.
"We're incredibly proud of this achievement. This has been years in the making," said Muckie Grendle, head scientist at Hooba Labs.
The product is expected to hit grocery stores nationwide later this year.
