LONDON - Using state-of-the-art laser technology, archaeologists uncovered a flash drive deep beneath a Mayan temple with over 100 gigs of previously unknown Shadow of the Tomb Raider DLCs which unlock exotic maps and well as secret missions, legendary characters, exclusive skins, and loot crates.
"It’s like the holy grail of map packs"
Archaeologists could barely contain their excitement about the game-changing find.
"It’s like the holy grail of map packs. I think this is one of the greatest advances in over 150 years of Maya archaeology," Croby Crandle, an archaeologist at Brown University with decades of experience studying Mesoamerican cultures told the BBC.
"Archaeologists will need weeks to play through all new content and really understand what we're seeing," Malark Grungie, a Tulane University archaeologist, told National Geographic. “I can’t wait to stream this on Twitch.”
“Those of us who study archaeology spend our whole lives dreaming about map packs like this. I wonder how many other map packs are still out there waiting to be discovered,” said world renowned archaeologist Muckie Grendle, who found the flash drive.
The map pack will be available through the Xbox Live Store and Playstation Store some time next year.
