Muckie Grendle, a 34 year old man from Bakersfield and voracious carrot consumer, rushed himself to the emergency room after pulling out a live 3 lb rabbit from his rectum.

After feeling cramps and suffering from bloody diarrhea for several days, Grendle finally discovered the cause.

Grendle tells the story, "At first I thought my guts were coming out of my body. I was feeling around down there and felt something furry and wet. I began to pull. Then something bit me!"

At that moment Grendle realized this wasn't any old trip to the bathroom. Grendle, pants still around his ankles with 2 furry ears poking out of his butt, got up and began rummaging his cabinets for a sack to collect the rabbit.

"I couldn't find anything so I just went back to the bathroom. That was a useless trip. Don't include it in the story."

Over the next 2 hours, Grendle carefully pulled the entire rabbit out and then attempted to flush it down the toilet.

"It was just too big to flush. I decided I should probably go to the hospital and get things checked out down there."

The hospital staff didn't believe a word Grendle said, but still charged him $1000 for the visit.

"I decided to adopt Butts Bunny. Butts likes to hang out in the toilet."

Organizers of the first annual Taco Festival in Kingsland, Texas say the festival was a huge success despite 22 people missing.

"I don't know how they find such a variety of meat."

"I can't wait for next year" said one festival goer. "For awhile the lines were really long, but then all that changed for some reason. You can try so many types of tacos. I don't know how they find such a variety of meat."

Festival organizer Muckie Grendle said "This year's festival was so diverse. People come in all kinds of flavors and we had plenty to choose from. Are you from a newspaper or something?"

One festival goer didn't have such a great time. "I found a hair in one of my tacos. They offered me another taco, but that one had a finger and even more hair. Don't they wear hairnets?"

We interviewed the festivals head taco chef about the quality issues. Chef, "If you want make some tacos, you're going to have to crack a few legs...I mean eggs. Some tacos have eggs." When asked about the huge number of missing people his response was "This interview is over!"

Weeks later the local authorities are still searching for the missing people. "I'm sure those tacos...I mean...I'm sure those people will turn up eventually," said Officer Louie Grendle. "Those are the best tacos I've ever had."
